Tourism in Kendari And How to Get There

A Traveler Journal

I am an immigrant residence who come to Kendari for work. I have a mission to know more about Kendari especially in tourism, culture, and language. I have limited access to the city due to my work place that is far from the City and public transportation, and also have a limited time to explore Kendari. I am new to traveling, I didn’t use to spent my budget for a vacation before it even in my hometown. I am still looking for the most expensive way to approach my mission. Either I will buy motorcycle so I can travel by myself or I will use the factory owned vehicle at the weekend and then I will travel by myself with public transportation.  First thing that I do is making a list of the nearest tourism I can reach from my workplace, then I must decide the time and the transportation I will use to go there.

1.       MORAMO Waterfall

Air terjun moramo (moramo waterfall) is about 38 km (23.6 miles) far away. It is ideal to travel with motorcycle which takes about 1 hour to travel. Other option is by bicycle. Here is the route I take from google map.

2.       Tracking mangrove Bungkutoko

It is about 12 km or 7.5 mill away from my workplace. I can reach it by running or cycling or by motorcycle
